Cli-what-a-what?!?

Clinometer! A clinometer is used to measure height using angles. Let me explain…😅 You get the thing you want to measure, like a door. 🚪 Then you choose a distance, like 4 meters and go that far away from it. Next, you put your clinometer down EXACTLY on the 4 meter mark and also a MASSIVE protractor with the centre on 4 meters. After that you look through the pink bit until you can see the top point, then someone else will see how many degrees the angle is. Later when you have some think to write on, you do this: Draw a line, if you did 4 meters then draw a 4 centimetre line. Then draw a line straight up from the end of the line as far up as you can. Next draw a line in the same angle that you found with the clinometer. Then measure the 90 degree line until the clinometer angle line meets up. Let’s say it was 6 centimetres tall, the your door would be 6 metres tall. (Though I highly doubt your door would be that tall 😂)

Any way, thanks bye 👋

Swimming –o-o–

Before we start, I am doing this on a computer, (which means no emojis.) 🙁  So I was trying to make a goggles emoji  –o-o– 🙂

Anyway, for swimming I am in level 4. If you go to Mr Hope and LA014’s Blog, there is a post called “All Going Swimmingly” with my goggles on it!

My teacher is really nice, but I still don’t like swimming lessons, I just like free swimming 🙂

Ok there’s not much else to say so, byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Holidays 😎🏖️

Okay, let’s get this straight, it is NOT Summer. I just did that emoji because it reminds me of holidays. 🫣🏖️ Today is actually the first day of the second month of Autumn 🥶 But this is what I did on the holidays. My family went to my great grandparent’s farm for Easter 🐣. There was my mum, my nanna, my brother, my great grandparents and obviously me! We spent a few days there doing typical Easter stuff,(egg hunts, Sunday roast, ect.) Then we came home and I had a sleepover with one of my besties, Mackenzie and we went to Bounce then the sushi train then a frozen yoghurt place.

Okay, byeeeee

Story starters

Ok so I’m just going to do a quick post on some of today’s work. During spelling we do “Story Starters”. We all get 3 words to make an intriguing sentence that we would start a novel with, these are mine:

Convince- I had to convince him not to, or I wouldn’t be here today…

Dilemma- It was a dilemma, my sister or my dad…

Nightmare- She jolted up from her nightmare, then she saw the newspaper with identical figures…

And that’s all for now, byeee✌️
